On May 20, a delegation composed of high officials from Wuyi University, Jiangmen, and from our network partner CGAII (both China) visited or member CCG in Guimarães.
This visit had been promoted and organized by GraphicsVision.AI’s Managing Director Jürgen Bund, during and after his participation in the CGAIC2018 conference in November of last year.
The objective of the visit was to inform the delegation of current high-end R&D carried out at CCG and to discuss possible lines of cooperation. One of CCG’s labs, a Driving Mock-Up Simulator, caught the eye of Prof. Zhang Kun, President of Wuyi University. More news on this may follow soon.
During the afternoon, the delegation was also introduced to UMinho’s School of Engineering. The afternoon ended in a formal ceremony in which Prof. Zhang Kun and the President of University of Minho, Prof. Rui Vieira de Castro, signed a MoU and expressed their willingness and commitment to establish new academic and research action lines, also in collaboration with CCG and CGAII, starting still in 2019.
